Love instant-developing film? Want some great photos to put into your Smashbook or art journal, or just like collecting them? I do! And if you do, too, this swap is for you! /poetanddidn'tknowit
RULES - DO:
1) Send each partner THREE different Polaroid, Instax, or other instantly-developed photos (of any size). If the photos are smaller than an Instax Mini (2x3 inches), two photos will count as one photo. Instax Share "printers" are allowed. Please note: You will have TWO partners in this swap, so will need to send a total of six photos.
2) Try to keep the subject matter neutral (see the "DON'T" section for clarification).
3) Include a note with an explanation of each photo. Where and when it was taken, etc., for example. The explanation can be as brief or as long as you would like as long as some context to the photo is provided. Include your screen name and the name of the swap somewhere.
4) Send your photos in a padded mailer, and write "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" on both the front and the back. Since a padded mailer is required to protect the photos, I'm categorizing this as a type 3 swap.
5) This is a sender's choice swap, but please check your partners' profiles to make sure you don't send them anything they'll hate.
6) The photos you send must be taken by you, but they can be taken specifically for this swap, or photos you've taken in the past.
RULES - DON'T:
A) Do not include photos which have been printed at home or by a professional printing service. Instantly-developed film photos ONLY.
B) SUBJECT NEUTRAL: Do not send portraits or family snapshots. If there are people in the photo, they shouldn't be the specific focus of the photos.
BAD examples: Selfies, photos of your family/kids (sorry!), or your family's holiday dinner party, etc.
GOOD examples: Photo of the crowd at your local carnival, a busy city sidewalk, etc.; photos of hands holding or of people from behind or in silhouette; #fromwhereistand style photos; etc!
C) DO NOT WRITE ON THE PHOTOS unless your swap partners have said it's okay. Ask first! =)
D) Don't send anything you wouldn't be excited to receive!
Some ideas for inspiration:

OPTIONAL:
- Feel free to include some fun little extras like photo stickers or other FLAT items (so they don't damage the photos in transit) you might think your partners will like.
PLEASE RATE YOUR PARTNER A 5 IF:
i) You have received from your partner 3 photos that meet the above criteria.
ii) If the photos you received were sent within the alotted time frame.
iii) If the photos were sent in a padded mailer with "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" written on both sides.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
This is my very first time hosting a public swap, so I am trying to make things as foolproof for myself as possible; I hope you understand. Γ°ΕΈββ’ Therefore:
- USA only.
- Users with ratings lower than 4.98 are not accepted.
- No 3 ratings within the last six months, and no 1 ratings within the last year.
IF YOU ARE AWARE OF ANY QUESTIONABLE SWAPPERS WHO HAVE JOINED THIS SWAP: pleeeeease send me a private message to let me know! (Don't comment about it here; we don't want to start any public drama, do we? ^_^) I am not a veteran of this site, so while I will do my best to check each swapper individually before assigning partners, I may miss something important simply because I don't yet have a historical awareness of questionable individuals. All advice is welcome!
I can angel up to six photos (so, two flakers), but only after you've exhausted all options for resolving the problem and have rated your flaker(s) a 1. Additional angel volunteers are welcome, of course; please comment below if you're willing. Γ°ΕΈββ’
