Pocket Letters seem to be all the rage on Swapbot right now so I thought it might be fun to do one for our Book Lovers Group. If your new to Pocket Letters that's ok, I am to, we can learn together!

This isn't meant to be a swap where you have to go out & buy anything. Quality items we have at home & from our craft stashes is perfect for this swap. :) Everything is Sender's Choice, but for the Teabag Pocket (#6) check to see if your partner has any allergies.

9 Pocket Clear Baseball Card Collector Sheets can be found inexpensively at Walmart. As well as at Amazon & office supply stores. Pocket Letters were created by Janette Lane. Click on the link for her tutorials and examples of different Pocket Letters.

A SMALL NOTE: For our Book Lover's twist on the Pocket Letter we wont fill all the pockets with strictly Book related items, but we will do a few of them geared towards the love of Books and the written word!

INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING IN YOUR BOOK LOVER'S POCKET LETTER:

1ST POCKET: "FAVORITE BOOK QUOTE." Hand written or typed on pretty paper or card. Include the Book or Author's name the quote is from.

2ND POCKET: "WASHI TAPE." 3-4 different Washi Tape samples, 12 inches in length, wrapped around a playing card or similar non-sticky surface. The Washi Tape samples do not have to be book themed.

3RD POCKET: "EPHEMERA!" Fill the pocket with a handful of ANY type of ephemera. Ephemera can be vintage or "vintage inspired."

4TH POCKET: "SMALL TUCK IN." This pocket is for an item that can be used in Snail Mail or in Journals & Smash Books. It doesn't have to be book related. (Ex: Poem or Inspirational Quote, Project Life Cards, Postmarked Stamps, etc.)

5TH POCKET: "BOOK PLATES."1- 2 Book Plates. They can both be the same design or different, its up to you the sender. Printed from the computer, store bought, or quality handmade are all allowed. (If you don't have book plates on hand you may substitute it for another "book inspired" item.)

6TH POCKET: "TEA." One Factory Sealed Teabag that your partner can enjoy when they cozy up with a good book. Please check partners profile for any allergies before selecting what teabag to send. (If you have allergies please make it easy for your partner to see them on your profile.)

7TH POCKET: "BOOK RELATED ITEM" A tuck in item inspired by Books, Fairy Tales or Children's Books. Handmade is allowed. (Ex: using a Book page to make a Handmade Tag, some Book or Fairy Tale themed Rub-Ons or Stickers, etc) Its open to the sender's interpretation and should be just a simple fun book inspired item.

8TH POCKET: "FUN MINI'S." Tuck in a handful of fun mini things to fill this pocket. (Ex: Fun Shaped Paper Clips, Buttons, Mini Roll of Ribbon or Tape, Mini Clothespins, Mini Ephemera, Scrabble Tiles, Mini Erasers, Mini Cling Stamps, etc.)

9TH POCKET: "BOOK RECOMMENDATION." This pocket is usually the "letter pocket", but we will use it to include a Book Recommendation List of 1 or more books. Write the book title and author name and a line about why you liked it. No spoilers though! You can hand write or type your book recommendation(s).

TO SUM IT UP: Don't forget to put your swapbot name & the name of this swap on a piece of paper in the envie or pocket letter somewhere, so its easy for your partner to rate you.

The Pocket Letter when filled and ready to send can be folded in thirds and put in an envelope. You don't need to decorate the outsides of the pockets unless you wish to, its not a requirement though.

TO JOIN: You need at least a 4.99 & no recent (past twelve months) or unresolved bad ratings. As well as no late swaps on your dashboard. I will check participants before assigning partners. Any questions please feel free to comment below or pm me! USA only.
