Description:

I'm in a group that hosts awesome handmade postcards; I'm hoping you guys would like to have a Canadian only Handmade Postcard swap, using collage.

Only use your magazines, or newspaper images to create a collaged postcard - no google searching for images. That's cheating for this swap.

Senders choice on the subject. Do you want to make an alphabet collage? Go for it!

Do you want to make a colour pc? Go for it! Check your partners profile for their colour preference - or, at least mine (I hate pink, lol).

How about a certain animal you love - yes, do it!

Photomontage is wonderful (and, it's collage).

Make your postcard 4 x 6 inches (or more). Not too big, you're the one who has to put a stamp on it (or put it in an envelope that fits, which still needs a stamp).

You CAN use google to search out some fantastic collages, or photomontage - just to get an idea, if you need it.

Have fun. Use up those bits and pieces!! USE those magazines and pictures you save.

The image I'm showing is an alphabet one I got for "A" (made by @MamaMangrove ) - I asked for A because of my grandson. I framed it and it's in his bedroom. It's posted on our Flickr pages.

How about books, napkins, sheet music etc.?

You can definitely use those items on your postcard, but there should be a subject. These would be more like embellishments to complete your postcard.

I loved this! Would definitely join another of these.
