I have chosen just one Weird holiday for JAN and ta da my choice is......... Dress Up Your Pet Day: Jan 14 Your atc cards needs to have least one pet dressed up in clothing or jewelry, AND the date Jan 14th. The year is not required, but can be added. The date needs to be on the front of the card! You may, stamp, collage, or hand draw a pet in clothes or jewelry. You may print out some items on the computer, but please nothing that is only digital/printed. Add some elements of mixed media to you cards if you are using a printed image. You need to add something like inking the edges, add bling, add fiber, use rubber stamps, emboss something, use brad or eyelet. Get it? Be artful. They are called artist trading cards for the art reason. The mixed media rule will not apply to those who are hand drawing their cards. Pets may of course include cats, dogs, pigs,Fish, guinea pigs, horses, cows, llamas, goats, birds, turtles, even rats and snakes if you are so brave. I am sure I missed one pet. If you have a pet Panda, Elephant, Zebra, Lion or Tiger, I really want to see you exotic pet permit. Although I appreciate exotic animals in clothes, lets keep with the general idea of bizarre domesticated animals, not animals we are keeping captivity, tame. We can always do another swap for the more exotic animals later. Your card needs to measure 2.5x 3.5, have a sturdy backing, contain some contact info. Please protect your card with a plastic sleeve or a small envelope, tape it down so it doesn't dance around the envelope. Although it hasn't been necessary yet, I do angel all my swaps, once you have contacted the sender twice and rated them a 1. |
