TCH: Meaningful Notes #2

Remember when you were a child and everything seemed so new & delightful? You explored a big wonderful world full of adventures, mysteries & surprises. As an adult have you forgotten the miracle of material things, taking the gifts of this life for granted?

When is the last time you "woke up & smelled the coffee"? There are tons of gourmet coffees available. Coffee isn't just coffee anymore. Each cup represents a country, a culture & a lifestyle. Imagine the coffee beans growing in the sun & rain, the hands that pick them, the people who package & ship them across the miles to you. Think about how many people worked together to bring you a "simple" cup of coffee.

And that is only the beginning of the morning's miracles. Who designed the pattern on your coffee cup? Where did you get the interesting clock to decorate your wall? And not to mention all the clothes in your closet. More small miracles.

Look out the window. You may see a red cardinal or hear the scream of a blue jay. While you've been inside the world outside has been on its own errands. Even in the dead of winter, nature is doing its own thing. Another source of miracles to marvel at!

Every day you encounter miracles. Every day God is giving you gifts, showering you with abundance. And every day it's your choice whether you are going to take them for granted, complain that they aren't enough, or be thankful that you are so blessed.

For this swap you will choose from one of the following options to send to your partner. There are 3 options to choose from.

OPTION #1-

• In a note card, make a list of at least 25 ordinary things that you can praise God for.

• Include a tea bag with your note card.

• Decorate your envie with a happy theme and add a Bible verse or quote. We want to see some happy mail that will put a smile on our faces when we take it out of the box. Decorations can be simple - a drawing or sticker. Just make it happy meaningful mail!

OPTION #2-

• Take a walk in the woods or your neighborhood. In a note card, describe all the miracles in nature that you saw on your walk. You could even include a little flower or rock from your walk or other treasure, but that is not required.

• Include a tea bag with your note card.

• Decorate your envie with a happy theme and add a Bible verse or quote. We want to see some happy mail that will put a smile on our faces when we take it out of the box. Decorations can be simple - a drawing or sticker. Just make it happy meaningful mail!

OPTION #3-

• Go to a coffee shop or tea shop and learn about the different varieties and the countries they come from. Share what you learn with your partner in a note card.

• Include a tea bag or coffee sample with your note card.

• Decorate your envie with a happy theme and add a Bible verse or quote. We want to see some happy mail that will put a smile on our faces when we take it out of the box. Decorations can be simple - a drawing or sticker. Just make it happy meaningful mail!
