SWL ~ send me cut-outs #6 WITH A TWIST

Hi all! This is a twist on the usual "send me cut-outs" swap. Please read below for more information before joining as it's not like the usual swap (that we just had in november.)

The idea: You will only have 1 partner this round & will be sending them a minimum of 20 cut-outs, same requirements as before which are below. BUT the twist is that you will be joining this swap if you want to take part in a send me cut-outs mail art challenge...

The cut-outs that you receive from your partner in this swap, you will be using to decorate/make a mail art envelope next month. You might use their cut outs for collage, etc, using as many cut-outs as you can which they sent you.

You do not have to participate in the next swap, where we'll use these cut-outs, to join this one. BUT it is encouraged. Afterall I will need someone to participate with when we come to use them in the next swap. :)

swap requirements: in an envelope minimum A6/4.5 x 6.4 (standard envelope) fill it with cut-outs from magazines, books, paper ephemera, etc.

you must find these cut-outs yourself and spend time cutting them out for your partner. please any cut-out NICE attractive things, think things from nice magazines, attractive papers, old ephemera, etc, not trash.

You have to be cutting things out and not just sending small pieces of stationary, memos etc. this is not allowed.

the minimum cut-outs you can send is 20. TWENTY. if you think you can't do this, don't join. yes your partner might count them and yes, you HAVE to send 20. please remember cut-outs are almost weightless and this is a cheap swap to send even international so please do try and fill the envelope.

required cut-outs to send include any and a mix of the following:

pictures

text

patterns

small quotes

shapes

anything pretty to cut out

ephemera

things that do NOT count as cut-outs: -takeaway menus / ads / junk mail -bookmarks -stickers / embellishments -full page ads from magazines -ribbon / deco tape/washi tape

it is senders choice as long as you follow those guidelines.

you are more than welcome to also include ANYTHING flat (postcards, paper scraps, more cut-outs, ads, bookmarks, stickers, photographs)... your partner would like and can use, however please note this does NOT count as 20 cut-outs.
