Start with a page protector from a store that sells office supplies. Cut off one side & the bottom if it is a sealed bottom. It should now open up like a book. Sprits or drop a few drops of ink that go well together. (reinkers work well for this, but I have also used acrylic paint ) Close the page & brayer the top to move the ink around. Not too much so that your colors get muddied. Open the page & lay in the book page. I use 2 pages back to back so that I can get 2 pages done at once. Now brayer again. Open & remove the book pages & let dry. Please try to have a little of the words on your book page show thru. If you do not have a page protector, you can use wax paper. Now you can do whatever you want for this ATC. The inked page is your background. Be sure to adhere it to a sturdy backing. One ATC to one partner. Because of the holidays I am allowing lots of time to get this done. |
