Description:

Send-by date is extended to Dec 1st due to the American Thanksgiving - I thought the post offices were open on Friday the 28th of November AFTER Thanksgiving on Thursday. You wacky Americans know how to DO a holiday!! xxx

Seems several of our group members are hankering to do a handmade postcard swap :-)

I had an idea that we could do a ransom note!

  • Think up a great message for a "ransom note" i.e. STRANDED - SEND WINE!

  • I've attached a picture to give you an idea, but I'm sure you get it?

  • create the "front" of the postcard with the ransom note you want to convey and then make the back of the postcard where the address goes, and where you will write your swap-bot name

  • affix enough postage and make sure everything is glued/stuck well as the postal machines can be ruthless with mail art

  • Ta-da! (send it off to your partner)

ALL WELCOME :-)

Hey Michele, :( this is right smack in the middle of the Thanksgiving holiday. Can you extend the send out date? I would really like to participate. :)

Do we have to send this naked, or can we put it in an envelope? I did read the description; just wondering. I've got some nice ideas, but am always afraid to send diy pc's naked.

:) thanks.

Hi @Tiffaknee - thanks for asking. Send it naked if you can, but I'm sure your partner will be okay with it sent in an envelope if you enquire.
