Sailor Moon Crystal Watch & Discuss #1

The new series of Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon Crystal) starts this week! It is not a continuation of the old series, rather, it is an entirely new series that is supposed to be more in line with the manga. New-ish story, new art style. As a die-hard fan of the original series, Im super excited! So I want to host a swap where fans (or anyone who is interested) can watch the show and then discuss it here on the SB forums.

The series begins on July 5th, and will air every 1st and 3rd weekend of the month for a year, with a total of 26 episodes) For North America, you can watch on Hulu or on Viz Video's streaming site, Neon Alley. I'm not sure about other parts of the world. The episodes will be subbed in English, as the dubbed version is not yet being released.

For the swap, you will have 2 weeks to watch the episode and post a response on the forum. (link coming soon).

Since there isn't a lot of information on what to expect in the first episode, I'm going to leave the first episode discussion very general. You can post whatever you like, as long as it pertains to the new series.

Ideas on what to talk about:

1) Anything from the episode.

2) What you like/ dislike so far

3) Compare the original anime series to Crystal

4) Compare the manga to Crystal

Really, anything is fair game as long as it pertains to the first episode.
