Please make sure that it is legal to mail spices and seasonings, including ones that contain garlic and dried veggies, into and out of your country prior to joining this swap! We don't want to lose our spices to customs! I haven't hosted this fun swap for several years but thoughts it'd be an interesting one to do this summer. Who likes to try new flavorings for foods? Let's send spices or seasonings representing our country, state, or heritage. Spices must be new and commercially sealed. You may either send a jar/shaker or an equivalent amount in pre-packaged spice or seasoning packets or pouches. Let's try to send our partners something new to them when possible and not send single-ingredient spices that are commonly available (dried basil, ground cinnamon, etc.). The amount spent prior to shipping should be approximately $3 per partner. We will each send to 2 partners. Please include a recipe or serving suggestion for using your spices! If you send spice packets with printed recipes on them, that will be fine. What to send:
I will check all profiles prior to assigning partners and will remove anyone with questionable ratings or current issues. Please remember to send a carefully-packaged, thoughtful, on-time swap and to rate your partner when you have received your package. I'm sending you wishes for some yummy swapping! ;-) |
