Description:

Most of us here have a large stash of crafting, swap, and gift supplies that we have collected in our time swapping. So for this swap, we’re going to de-stash some of our stash!

Because this is a no-spend swap (everything you are sending your partner should be coming from the stash you have on hand), we will fill EITHER a Priority Mail® Small Flat Rate Box (ships for $5.80) OR if you plan to send large papers or other larger items, a Priority Mail® Padded Flat Rate Envelope (ships for $5.95).

By using the flat rate packaging, you can fill your package to the brim, and by limiting the size, we’ll keep shipping cost similar for everyone participating. If you decide you want to go above and beyond and send your partner extra, that is totally your call, but please remember that just because you go bigger doesn’t mean your partner will...

This swap is entirely sender’s choice - go through your stash and send to your partner items that are in good, clean, useable condition. Not sure what to send? Some ideas of what you can include are:
* Stationary
* Postcards
* Scrapbooking Paper
* Stickers
* Handmade Envies
* Washi or Deco Tape
* Beads
* Ribbon
* Bath & Body Items
* Jewelry
* Ephemera
* Stamps

These are just simple suggestions - the possibilities are endless, and totally up to you!

This swap is U.S.A. ONLY.

To Join This Swap:
* Anyone is welcome to join in with a rating of 4.98 or higher, and a WELL filled out profile. (If your profile has two or three short sentences, you WILL be dropped from this swap.)
* NO 1's or 3's within the last three months.

Swap Recap:
* Fill a small flat rate box or padded envelope as full as you can with stuff from your stash!
* This swap is sender's choice.
* This swap is USA only.
* If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
* I will angel if needed, but hopefully, that won't be necessary.

Thanks for joining in, and happy swapping!!!

I'm not seeing where this swap fits into the letters & writing swap as I see no mention of any letters being written as a requirement for this swap?

skybridgestudios 04/29/2014 #

Probably because participants can swap stationery, writing tools, note cards, etc. that might interest people who write letters.

When you say flat rate padded envelope, do you mean a bubble mailer?

LadyRaven86 05/ 4/2014 #

@03Scarlett as @skybridgestudios said, this swap was put into the "Letters & Writing" category because swappers can swap stationery, postcards, writing implements, note cards, etc.

@Kal7Yrck Yes, a padded envelope is a bubble mailer. The flat rate padded envelopes are 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" in size, and are available for free at the post office. So are the boxes.
