Yarn Mandala (crochet or knit)

This is my fourth time hosting this swap!! It's been successful in the past so I wanted to host it again.. but this time in our lovely group!! For this swap:

You are making ONE mandala for ONE partner

• THIS is the pattern we will use - it is a CROCHET pattern, but if you are skilled enough to make a modify it into a knitting pattern you can knit it instead.

• It is SENDER'S CHOICE as far as colors, NOT using any one yarn in more than four rounds.. a variegated (multicolor) yarn ONLY counts as 1 color.

• You have to do a minimum of 18 "rounds" - this 18 includes the center circle and doesn't count any fancy edging you may decide to finish it with (although it's not required to do a fancy edging)

• Use ANY type yarn you have available - the type of yarn is also SENDER'S CHOICE.

• Be sure that your project is not covered in pet fur (or people hair for that matter) - it's a good idea to take a lint brush to it before you pack it for shipping.

• Also, please do your very best to keep it clean and cigarette smoke smell free. Yarn is one of the hardest things to get cigarette smoke smell out of.
