Description: | |
All of my swaps are open to all skill levels, including beginners. Make one of these cute little mini books with pockets from a piece of double-sided scrapbooking paper (this tute is provided as a starting point only). If you prefer printed instructions, look here. This book is made basically the same way as in the other tutorial, it is just bound/finished differently. Please note: This swap is for a book with 4 pockets (not 8), so it uses just one half of a 12" x 12" sheet of paper (12" x 6"). If anyone has questions or problems making the book, please pm me. If you do not have access to double-sided paper, you can decorate the blank side that shows after folding by painting, stamping, drawing, printed images, patterned paper etc. Decorate the outside of your book, include a mechanism for closing it (the usual way is with ribbon ties, but any mechanism you like is fine), and fill each of the 4 pockets with one little thing (see list below). If you want to make the mini book using a different design, you may, as long as it has 4 pockets, a closure, and is basically the same size as the above ones. The theme for this swap is "PAPER", so anything at all related to paper is acceptable: the items you enclose in the little pockets must either be made of paper (such as inchies, twinchies, swap cards, address lables, tags) OR relate to paper/papercrafts in some way (such as handmade or purchased stamps, ribbon, glue dots, mini gel pen, paper clips, mini stamp pad). Items to be inserted in the 4 pockets: If you have any questions, please pm me as I don't check my swaps daily. Thx! Have fun! |
