Tutorial

I have yet to see a quilt made with these blocks that did not come out. I love how the scrappy effect makes the quilt.

So I am proposing a swap of 6,5" unfinished scrappy string block using musslin method as used in the above tutorial. ATTENTION the tutorial uses a different size!! We will be trimming the blocks to 6,5" unfinished. 2 partners each 4 blocks makes for 8 blocks is total. As this is senders choice one can start sewing straight away.

Strips are a max. width of 2" UNSEWN (preferably variation of widths but no wider then 1,5" once in the block) Fabric used once per block (see profile pic).

I will angel this swap, but please let your partner (and me) know if there are any hickups. Communication is key!

I have a box of these blocks at home that I collected from swap-bot last year. This swap is so tempting I just may have to join! These blocks are very addictive too!

You're talking 6 1/2 inch size blocks, right!

1leemeadows 02/ 8/2014 #

Yes, @vlhafer54 when you see 6.5" that is the unfinished size 6 1/2", the .5 always represents the 1/2". Hope that helps

Perkl8r I have them too, and thought this will help me complete it!

I have never done these blocks - it says something about a tutorial - but I don't see it listed. Please let me know where to go so I can see if I can do this....

@beaglemom the tutorial is the first "blue word" under the photo. That is the link to the tutorial. Hope that helps.
