Just for Fun Postcard Swap #1

I have something special that I'd like to send as postcards, if that ok. They'll gothru the mail ok, they just aren't the standard 4x6" size postcard. They'll be great fun for my female partners, if I have any male partners they'd get the regular fun postcards! Let me know if this would be ok please.

I adore postcards, either handmade or the typical holiday ones!

One question tho since im new to this, when do I find out who my swap partners are?

Hi ananyah, you will get an email the next day after the "sign-up date" ((ie. 30th Dec) telling you who your partners are :)

no one has answered my question whether I can send "non-traditional" postcards out to my partners. Please let me know, because if not, I plan on making mine home made, Thanks, susi

Regarding partners... the email doesn't say who your partners are. It just directs you to the site to find click on the link at the top of the swap page to see your partners. It would be nice if the email gave you partner information, but I guess there may be some trouble with security having all that in an email.

Mine are all written and stamped and ready to go in the mail tomorrow morning. I love writing and sending postcards.

Susi, I personally wouldn't mind "non-traditional" postcards, but I'm only speaking for myself on the issue. Just thought I'd respond to you since no one else has. I've seen some interesting non-traditional postcards when I worked at a stationary store. =) Definitely some unique and fun things.

So far, no response on my "unusual cards" Two went over seas, hopefully they'll get to you... just look for something oval, glittery and bigger than a normal postcard! let me know when they arrive, please susi

I have gotten four cards so far, a fun handmade fairy tale from LOB, a freaking adorable rollerskating chicken from slaskowski1, a warm surfing card from sueb, and a great seattle card from JoJo.

Can't wait for my next two! This has been great fun.

Fun, adorable card from LOB, a very wintery, magical card from Tellu (all the way from Finland), and a neat Seattle card from my soon to be neighbor, JoJo. Love them all. Good choices! Can't wait to see what the mailman brings today. :-)

Candie, I received your delightfuld card today. Thank you so much! Loved the stamps, also. I knew it was from you, only because of the stamps, and by process of elimination. The post office mucked up your signature by putting a bar code over it. Thanks agian. I wanted to let you know it was gratefully received and I love it. :-)

I got a great variety of postcards from all my partners. I just love them and am going to now start a unique postcard book. If anyone is interested in the directions, send me an e-mail and I will happily mail a copy to you via snail mail.
