Knit / Sew / Crochet a Sock Monkey

Ever since my son was born a few months back, I have enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing projects for him. So, for my next project, I have decided to turn it into a swap.

Your task is to either knit, sew or crochet a sock monkey. A suggested minimum height requirement for your monkey should be 10 inches using classic sock monkey body colors (check out photo). You are welcome to start on your monkey now. Once the swap is closed to participants, I will then assign you a partner. Please indicate whether or not you would like a male or female monkey. A cute outfit or accessories to complement the gender of the stuffed animal would be wonderful. International participants are welcome to join as are newbies with full profiles.
