All skill levels welcome!

This is basically the same as this swap except for the Halloween theme.

For this swap, you will need either:
- Access to Office Max or a similar place that can print on card stock
OR
- A scanner/photocopier/printer at home

We will create an original Halloween image on 8.5" x 11" (or A4) paper, and then make 1 printed envelope for each of our 3 partners.

The envelopes should be as large as you can get it to print out on 8.5" x 11" (or A4) card stock.

You may make the image any way you like, using any materials and techniques.

No additional handwork, embellishments, etc. are allowed after printing.

Please assemble (cut, fold, glue/tape) before sending.

Have fun!

Oh I remember you did this for a Christmas swap last year. It was a lot of fun! And Halloween makes it even better!

I have had some questions from Dragonettes who are new to this type of swap, so maybe this will help:

What you do is:

  • take an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper
  • decorate it in a Halloween theme using any techniques and materials you like (but nothing chunky - keep it fairly flat)
  • scan that sheet into your computer (or have it done at one of those shops that do that sort of thing if you don't have a scanner)
  • print it out
  • make as large an envelope as you can from that sheet

The envelope is for your partner to use, so send it in a larger envelope. I use 6 x 9 brown envelopes, or my larger leftover Christmas card envelopes, but you can always make a larger envelope from a sheet of scrapbook paper (12 x 12).

Here is a tute to show you how to make an envelope to fit any size of card (or envelope in this case).

I just finished mine and decided that since I was already making copies I would make extra copies and send the Grandies a note in them at Halloween. :-)
