Pinterest Embroidery Project

I'm sure that many of us creative stitchers have joined Pinterest by now! (If not, and you are interested, send me a message and I will be happy to send a link to "invite" you!)

I think it would be fun to choose a small pattern/project from your partner's embroidery/needlework/cross stitch board to complete for them! The completed piece should fit onto a 6x6-inch square of cotton fabric. Before I assign partners, you will need to "clean up" or prepare your Pinterest board dedicated to needlework. There should be at least 5 appropriate choices of free patterns from which your partner can choose. I'll give a nice long sign up time of 2 weeks to allow for this.

Here's how it will work:

*When you sign up, please post a link to your needlework Pinerest board in the comments below. Be sure to make sure your board is up-to-date with at least 5 small free patterns from which your partner can choose. Check here if you'd like to learn to make a clickable link.

*Once partners have been assigned, check your partner's Pinterest board and choose a pattern to stitch on a 6x6-inch cotton square. (Of course, you are welcome to purchase a pattern that your partner has pinned, but this is not necessary, as your partner should have at least 5 free patterns pinned.) I will give a month to stitch, in case your summer is as busy as mine has been!

*Be sure to rate your partner fairly once you receive your project in the mail!
