*** Matryoshka Cross Stitch Kit ***

I did not sign up for this swap, but I wanted to post a comment because this is Matryoshka-related and I thought one or more people in this swap could be interested.

I found the following item -- a Matryoskka cross stitch picture kit -- available in a paper catalog that I receive, and now I've seen it online. In fact, today I received an e-newsletter from this company that gives a code for free shipping (promotion code E40010FS) for online orders placed before May 26, 2008.

It is a cross stitch kit for a Baboushka style nesting doll picture -- not a 3D doll but rather a 2D picture. It's quite pretty, and I would buy it for myself but I already have so many cross stitch kits that I may never get them all done! (It is hard to control myself from purchasing more kits, but I'm starting to be able to do it. :-P )

Please note: I don't get anything out of this personally -- just wanted to share with other what I found.

My sincere apologies to sunshine9905 for using her swap idea without her express permission, although I did contact her right away and she didn't express any problem with it (see http://www.swap-bot.com/forums/topic/9967).

She has just today told me she is unhappy about it. Had she told me much sooner, I would gladly have cancelled this swap so she could run it.
