Description: | |
This is the second in a series of technique based ATCs. Please make an ATC using any type of resist with ink added over top to add contrast. The most commonly known is emboss resist but there are variations such as faux batik, blended batik, paint resist, Versamark resist, ghosting, distress powder and I'm sure some others. Any variation is fine. These techniques can be found on Splitcoast Stampers Resist Techniques-19 of them, on YouTube or in Tim Holtz book Compendium of Curiosities. Everyone should have access to the supplies needed for some of the techniques as the simplest forms only require wax crayons or acrylic paint, stamps and ink all of which you can get from the dollar store so no excuses!! Please write the name of the technique you used and where you learned it on the back. A full reference including page number or URL would be nice but not required. *This is not a pass-it-on or trade swap. You must make this yourself. *If you use rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas, smudges or double lines are not acceptable. *Please check your partner's profile and avoid dislikes both in colour and theme. You may make this profile based if you wish. *Please only use computer generated images if they are extremely high quality and show no pixelation even upon close inspection. And no magazine cut outs. *Please make a beautiful ATC you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. *The ATC must each include a total of at least 4 layers and/or embellishments. The technique counts as one embellie. So, for example, an ATC with a base layer, a layer with the technique and a button counts as 4 layers/embellies. You must use all quality craft supplies. No cheap junk. *Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight. Colouring needs to look adult, not like a child did it. Please don't be discouraged by these rules. I am only referring to general tidy work, not tiny flaws. *Please have a 4.97+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up date. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out but there shouldn't be any on a group like this! If you are really worried, give me a heads up! Iรขโฌโขve been flaked on so many times, I've stopped keeping track, so I get it! |
