Description:

We all seem to be having fun with the first scavenger hunt postcard, so let's keep going! Here is your next scavenger list:

  • dinosaur
  • trumpet
  • queen
  • plaid
  • circle

Create one original collage postcard featuring the above listed items. How you interpret and represent the items is up to you: text, images, papers, ephemera, other media/mediums, shape of the card - get creative and have fun with it!

The size and shape of the postcard are sender's choice. The scavenger hunt items need to be included in the actual collage itself - or represented by the shape of the postcard. Anything on the note & address side will not count toward a completed scavenger hunt postcard.

You should send your postcard naked and written on, but you are welcome to send it in an envelope in the event it needs a little extra care. Don't forget to reference the swap name on the back of your card.

Just finished my purple marsupial window today AND it was SO MUCH FUN!!!! So....I'm in for this one!

I ended up LOVING the first one, so I'm joining...we'll see where it goes! I think trumpet will be the tricky one for me this time - but last time the tricky one (Beethoven) turned out to be my favorite element!

Trumpet??? Oy vay!

stephiedee 03/15/2013 #

@MissMillie & @isabellasnow - yay, glad to have ya again!

@ladyphlogiston - you know what was hard for me on the last one? The number 6! I mean, really. That should have been the easiest. I think I was just over-analyzing it.

@FarStarr - yep, a trumpet. Toot, toot ;D

These are so cool! How do you come up with the items? (o;

stephiedee 03/18/2013 #

@marooter - Some are things I've seen on profiles or otherwise picked up here and there. I'm actually trying to stick to a formula so I can just do some simple word association: an animal, a thing, a person, a pattern/color/finish, and a shape/symbol/alpha. The list gets created when the swap is created.

If anyone has ideas for future lists, feel free to send them to me.
