Not regifting, that will be another yearly swap I put up in Jan .or Feb. It's for those who would like to go to thrift stores

@ladydy5 How do you distinguish thriftstore items from regifted ones? How would the receiver ever know unless I tell them where I got the item? Why would it make a difference?

Swan I personally don't care, it is just in the description like that. If you dont want to go into a thriftstore to buy something for your swapper then maybe this is not the swap for you. I will be putting a regift swap up in February for just that. Description of swap and what the hostess is saying. It is for those who like to go into thriftstores and look around but no one will know where you got it that is true, up to sender if that happends but most of the swappers love to go to thriftstore just for the heck of it.

What is really fun is to look at the partner's profile, and go to the thrift store just to find a treasure for that person. Like a treasure hunt! I really appreciate it when I get a partner like that, and I try to be that partner. :)

price does not matter.nice to check profile for likes or dislikes, colors etc maybe collections, notice my description of this swap as sometimes you just cannot find something from checking her profile

pls do not join with a 1 rating for not sending. do not want my swappers to get disappointed, if way back years past i will consider

This is awesome! I'm brand new to SB and happened to notice this swap! I'm in the process of filling out my profile, it'll be completed by the weekend. Am I still able to join? Great swap idea BTW!!!

I love this swap, it is like a treasure hunt. One cane spend so little and get a lot of goodies. Sometimes I wonder if I spend more on shipping than I actually do at the thrift stores.

Also, sometimes I am in the thrift stores, before we get partners assigned and i seen something that is adorable and can be sent safely. I will pick that up as an early part of the swap, then go back and find more when the names have been assigned.

I'm a newbie and this will be my first mail swap and I am VERY excited!! We have a lot of great, clean thrift stores in Chicago and I'm sure I'll find something my partner will love!

GLAD TO FIND OUT MY PARTNER'S NAME. LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS. IT IS OUR CHURCH THAT WORKS AT OUR MISSION THRIFT STORE. I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THIS.. ONE THING THAT I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT THIS WONDERFUL SITE IS TO PAY THAT LITTLE EXTRA WHEN SENDING PACKAGES IN THE MAIL. I HAD TO SEND MY RECIPE SWAP PARTNER 3 . SHE DIDN'T RECEIVE THE EXTRA SPECIAL BOX THAT I HAD SENT BY PRIORITY MAIL BECAUSE I DIDN'T REQUEST TO HAVE IT SIGNED FOR WHEN DELIVERED, OF COURSE I HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE GIFTS BACK. ONE WAS A PERSONALIZED ORNAMENT JUST FOR MY PARTNER, AMONG OTHERS WERE SEWN ITEMS AND TOO MANY OTHER GIFTS TO MENTION. I HOPE THE RECIPIENT ENJOYED ALL THE RECIPES AND GIFTS. I DON'T HOLD THAT PERSON RELIABLE FOR NOT ANSWERING ME AS AFTER ALL IT WAS THE FIRST OF CHRISTMAS....MAYBE THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FROM SANTA. AT LEAST I HOPE SO.

Deeno, too late to ban her. I cannot believe there are 36 people who have not sent as of today's send date. I am late too because of circumstances but my swapper is aware to that. Ps contact your swapper if u will be late sending

I will not continue on if I have flankers with this type swap . I can accept one or two because of wonderful angels but not 30, so mark it sent if you did and forgot.

as of today 8 out of 107 have not sent, not bad but I do love everyone to send. Mine is late because I have been gone 3 weeks and will send tomorrow but my darling swapper is aware and kind enough to understand.

May need an angel or two, anyone interested message me pls for a name.

Okay. So today the package I sent out came back to me. Not really sure why. Says insufficient postage which doesn't make sense since I paid through the actual post office. Anyway. It's going back out tomorrow.
