Description:

I've always been intrigued by the thought of sugar plums. I don't know what they are and, to my knowledge, I've never had visions of them on Christmas Eve. But I know they're special. After all, they've been featured in poems, paintings and musical compositions. Even fairies get excited and dance at the thought of them!

Make an ATC for one partner depicting your personal vision of sugar plums. Use any medium or combination of mediums you like, but please don't use sticker or digital images. (That would be someone else's vision.) Your finished piece may be realistic or abstract. You have complete freedom to express yourself with this project, within the constraints of the ATC format, so it is 100% sender's choice.

As always, do your best work. Cut your ATC base carefully so that it measures 2.5 X 3.5 inches (6 X 9 cm). Use sturdy material for this. Write your name, date and title of the ATC on the back. Send it well protected in a sleeve or fitted envelope. Include a note with your ATC explaining your creative process in this project.

I will angel this swap in the unlikely event of a 1 rating. If you flake on your partner, you will be reported to FOPS and Santa.

If you have visual challenges, please don't hesitate to join. You can make a beautiful abstract piece that is larger, pick a section of it that appeals to you and have someone help you cut it to size. This challenge is for everyone!

Just to clarify (in case anyone else might be considering this swap). This is a creative interpretation of the words "sugar plums". What vision do those words evoke in your imagination? What shapes and colors come to mind? What memories do the words trigger? Please don't look up "sugar plum" and make a factual picture of one. Your ATC can be a realistic piece based on what you imagine them to be, or it can be completely abstract.
