Crochet Christmas Box

I hope you will enjoy the first, of hopefully many crochet swaps.

You will have one partner to send to, and this will be open to all group members, who like to crochet.

With the holidays fast approaching, I thought it would be nice to send your partner a small gift, the catch is you will crochet the box the gift will go in.

So for the swap you will crochet a small gift/trinket box and include a small gift inside.

Requirements for the box

*Must measure at least 3 inches.

*Must be made in “holiday colors” - think red, green, gold, silver, blue, white

*Must have a lid or top of some type

*Can be any shape- round, square, oval rectangle, etc.

*Decorate the box, add a pretty little crocheted decoration, maybe some lace, or a pretty little bow, or pretty button or fancy bead, maybe some little artificial holiday flowers, please don’t send just a plain box!

You can use any of the patterns listed below or use your own as long as they meet the above requirements.

For the gift, ideas could be - fancy soap, cute little candle, jewelry, small craft supplies, anything small that will fit in the box, that you think your partner would like.

Although this is not profile specific, it is always nice to look at your partners profile for likes and dislikes, as well as allergies.

Please include a little note, OR swap card, so we know who our gift came from, so that we can thank and rate them.
