@Peacewytch gave me the "ok" to host an international version of her swap! I will be following the same guidelines as hers but making a few modications so here we go! This is a swap for NON-tourist postcards in an envelope. [non tourist postcards are postcards not depicting a specific place or tourist destination. so no disneyland or the city your from] Send each of your THREE partners FIVE NON-TOURIST postcards, in an envelope, These will be UNUSED, NEW, POSTCARDS please make sure they are "sturdy" enough to post through the mail so that your partner can reuse them! Who can participate? Sweet swappers with at least 5 rated flat mail or package swaps, 4.9 rating minimum. I will be checking profiles and i do reserve the right to ban anyone questionable. if you are flaked on [hopefully not] I will Angel once you've rated your partner a one! **** I am going to say only store bought postcards at this time unless your partner wants to recieve free/ad cards. if you have free/ad cards to send please contact your partner once they are assigned and ask if they would be okay to recieve them.

Going to watch for now. The non-tourist pc seems like it would be too easy to get a bad rating. Afterall, aren't most of them tourist? That's what most of mine are.

Are ad/free cards okay, or only okay if the partner is looking for those type of postcards?

NON - tourist postcards are cards that arent depicting a place or city, so i have a postcards that are art cards, or animal cards or pride and prejudice and ZOMBIES postcards aha just anything that isnt a city or tourist spot like postcards of disneyland, or a city, or anything with a placename on it. i probably have 100 non tourist postcards and 20 tourist ones, i just dont really enjoy tourist cards anymore.

@coleenfranks why do you think it would be easy to get a bad rating? ratings arent personal opinions, if you meet the requirement of the swap you should automatically be rated a five.

@rsilvers I would double check with your partner once partners are assigned i wanna say No to free cards and ad cards because they usually arent something i would want to recieve when im sending out cards i spent money on but some people do collect them so i would double check with your partner .

@doeeyeddolly - thanks for the clarification! But ack, just realised I can't do those dates, so maybe next time.

@coleenfranks - There are lots of non-touristy postcards out there, but depending on where you live they might be harder to find. I know there are boxes of themed postcards out there, cos I have the Penguin book covers one (but there are a ton of others too). I got mine at a large bookstore. But, as ever, your mileage may vary depending on where you live.

I agree with @rsilvers I live super rurally and have to order most of mine online so far i have lucked out and come up with a lot of good quality postcards. it is hard to find non touristy postcards thats why i love these swaps so you can build your stash up! =)
