Think along the lines of:

ticket stubs, book pages, note pad sheets ( not plain, stamped image or something on it), journal pages ( not plain, something interesting) , used postage stamps, magazine clippings, interesting words or phrases, paper game pieces, score sheets, cool photos, post cards used or unused.

Get creative, just don't send trash or something you wouldn't smash yourself.
