Description:

Because the last two have been so popular, I present round 3! And thanks Thefinderofthings for the idea :) For this swap, we will be cramming flat rate boxes full of anything and everything. You want to go for miscellaneous, random, varied items.. and of course, you probably want to make it as heavy as possible.. just because you can :)

Be aware that this isn't necessarily about getting stuff you need, so if you get stuff you can't use send it to your local thrift store or re-swap it. or freecycle it. or whatever.

and in keeping with the original this is US ONLY.

If you have any questions, PM ME.

As far as who can join-if you are new you must have at least participated in 3 real swaps. and you must have at least a 4.2 to JOIN. i'm leaving this pretty open since we're not exactly swapping diamonds here. if you don't meet these requirements and still want to join, PM. I may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

which flat rate box are you talking about?

cat 02/18/2008 #

smaller ones, larger ones for possible hearts

the two flat rat boxes USPS offers, while different in shape, are almost identical in volume. the square one is good for things like shoes, while the flatter, rectangular one is good for books and magazine type items.

Almost identical in volume, but not quite. One box is still cheaper and smaller. This swap is for that box, and larger ones are just for possible hearts.

I wrote my partner asking what not to send as to not offend her but haven't heard back how long should I wait before stuffing a box and hoping?

Hi- this swap really isn't about sending what your partner wants, so you can go ahead and send anyway. just don't send trash. thanks, cat
