Want to see other people's style without the time-consuming process of making a whole Smash Book? Want to get inspiration from others? Let's swap just pages that we can stick in our own journals to create variety. Create 2 pages in Smash Book Style to send to 2 partners for them to stick into their own Smash books. That's 1 page per partner. The pages need some "white space" or journaling spots so your partner can write on them. Somewhere on the pages you, as the creator, sign and date the pages The back of these pages are to be left blank. In the comments section below write the maximum size you want the pages to be and whether they should be portrait or landscape. I've had some questions...... Pages to be made from paper as you would have in a journal Include a 1.5 cm margin on the left side for binding. If you have never made a smash book before give it ago. It's so much fun. This is what I do...... I start with something I like that catches my eye, a photo, greeting card or picture from a magazine. Stick it on the page. Then I rummage through my scraps/junk and randomly stick things to the page. Phrases from magazines are good. Stickers, anything really. I just create something that is visually appealing to me. It might have a message or theme or it might not. I love Julie Kirk's work Notes on Paper but she is just one particular style and there are many. Lets have fun creating pages. |
