Description:

For this swap, you will create 1 ATC for 1 partner.

Your ATC must include all or part of a photo you took yourself. The photo can be of anything, as long as you snapped the photograph.

Print the photo either at a small size, or crop a portion of the photo and attach it to the front of your ATC. Please embellish the rest of the ATC -- don't just stick the photo on it and call it done. You can draw or paint around (or on!) the photo, or use ribbons, buttons, glitter and other crafty materials to embellish your ATC. Please take the time and care to send your partner something wonderful - something you'd be happy to receive in return.

Be sure to fill out the back of your ATC completely, or include a note that tells your partner the name of this swap, as well as your Swap-Bot user name so they can easily rate you.

You must have a minimum rating of 4.93. Newbies are welcome, but only with a well-filled profile. I will be checking! Also, no recent 1s or 3s without explanation. If you have one of those in your profile, send me a message and we'll discuss.

Overall, have fun!

Can we add some effects on photo (like polaroid effect) before printing it and making the ATC?

ecooper99 05/11/2012 #

Einalem - absolutely! Feel free to alter the photo in any way, before and/or after printing.

I'm new and I'm sorry for the probably obvious dumb question but what does ATC mean?

Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern baseball cards - 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (63 mm X 89 mm). Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are always traded or exchanged, never sold.

Hope that helps!
