Please make sure that the stamps are not bent, ripped, stained, etc. and that you can see the perforations on all four sides! Nice and neat!

You may want to save these stamps for a future swap..........(hint hint)......

Do you have any tips on soaking stamps off paper?

The modern US stamps do not soak off the paper as far as I know - that applies to most self-sticking kinds of stamps from around the world.

Older stamps, just set them in a bowl of water until they come off the paper. They lay them on thicker white paper, put a paper towel over them, and put a heavy book on them. After 24 hours, remove the paper towels and they should dry in another day or so (put the heavy book over them.

At least that is how I have done it in years past. Anyone else have suggestions?
