Description:

I haven't seen a Chest of Drawers in here lately, so I thought I would create the swap. I really hope there will be some takers.

For this swap the definition of "Chest of Drawers" is: Three (32 count) matchboxes stuck together, and decorated as if it were a solid piece. Each "drawer" will contain goodies.

Requirements to join this swap:

  • No Ones or recent "unexplained 3s".

  • No issues of chronic late sending.

If you can't meet these requirements, please don't sign up.

Swap Requirements:

  • Create 1 (one) Chest of Drawers (see above definition) for 1 (one) partner.

  • The Outside of the Chest of Drawers should be decorated as Sender's choice. (use any medium you prefer, but NO Sticker Slapping)

  • Please think Quality - No Glue Globs, No messy cuttings, etc.

Now the idea behind the name of this swap:

  • The goodies that will be placed in drawers 1 & 2 will be profile specific.(Example if I were your partner and on my profile I have listed cats and hot air balloons, then you could make drawer 1 specific to cats and drawer 2 specific to hot air balloons). That is only an example...and suppose you did choose "hot air balloons" think outside the box...you could include something "sky" blue. You wouldn't have to include just a hot air balloon.

  • Drawer 3 will be something you like. (Please be considerate and don't choose something that might offend your partner though)

Hence the name Yours, Yours & Mine.

I am giving us a month to complete this swap. You could go ahead and work on the outside and "your" drawer, if you so choose.

ETA-Please package your chest of drawers in such a way that it does not get crushed.

If you would like to "deconstruct" your Chest of Drawers to save on postage you are more than welcome to. Just make sure once your partner receives it, she doesn't need 6 pages of directions and a slide rule to put it back together. LOL

I don't expect flaking, but if by some chance you are flaked on I will angel for you, once you rate you partner a 1. If you don't rate your partner a 1, I will not angel.

If you have any questions, please PM me.

Id join if it weren't for the extra postage. Maybe we can do a deconstructed chest of drawers (receiver assembles it) or a Can USA one soon.

I second that. :)

Paige1900 03/25/2012 #

I have no problem with that what so ever. : )

I'm not using glue sticks anymore, they just don't work for me.:/ What kind of glue do you all use for best results in these match boxes!

Moosecastle 03/28/2012 #

regular white glue that dries clear

Paige1900 03/28/2012 #

Agrees with Moosey. But I also LOVE the CTMH glue that glue is awesome.
