Description:

For this latest swap in the monthly swap series, you'll chronicle, in detail, one day in your life. The idea was originally taken from a LiveJournal photo community, "Day in the Life" where members detail their day in pictures. Similar swaps with letter-only requirements have been hosted on Swap-Bot as well, but since we are a group of overachievers, we'll do it the LLP way! With that in mind, this swap will incorporate the following elements:

  • Detail your day in words, that is, a letter that meets the minimum group requirements (2 sheets A4/US Letter, front and back or 4 sheets letterset, front and back).

  • Include ephemera from the day. It doesn't have to be much as I know sometimes, our days simply don't generate a lot of ephemera! But receipts, ticket stubs, (CLEAN) candy or treat wrappers, bits of memos or notes...anything of the like. You may either paste the ephemera throughout the letter or enclose it loose. Partners, if you have a preference, please, please, please let your partner know! If you want to use the ephemera in future projects but not destroy the letter, PM your sending partner with your request.

  • Include at least 6 photos from various points throughout the day. These are not expected to be professional shots! Again, photos may be pasted to the letter at the appropriate point or enclosed loose. If you opt to send them loose in the envelope, be sure you label the backs with the point of the day and what it is we're looking at. If you have a strong preference, again, contact your sending partner.

  • Finally, the envelope should be either handmade or a piece of mail art (front and back!).

Got it? As with all monthly swaps, one month to sign up, one month to send.
