TPD - APCs ♥Hearts #1♥ EDT-24 Jan 2012

I would first like to thank @neca84 for graciously allowing me to copy (and then alter), her APCs Swap series from The Crafting Queens Group. So (even though I don't think she is in this group)...thank you very much @neca84 : )

• For this swap series of Altered Playing Cards, we will be building the Heart Suit ONLY. This will be the standard size playing cards. Do NOT use mini-cards, or children's cards. You must use a standard set of cards. If you participate in all 5 swaps in this series you will have a complete SUIT. (If we have enough participation, I will do another series for another suit).

• This will be open to beginners & more advanced APC swappers so please keep that in mind when rating. Remember 5's should be given if the swap meets requirements. Hearts can be given at receivers discretion.

• It is a good idea to lightly sand your playing card, since typically they are "coated". This will make altering easier.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ REQUIREMENTS:

• For the first swap of the HEART series we will be swapping the Ace - the King - and the Queen. That means you will send 3 cards (A, K, & Q of hearts) to 1 partner.

• At least 1 corner of the playing card needs to be showing. Yes, if you want to leave more showing that is fine, but you MUST leave at least 1 corner showing.

• You may use any type of medium you chose, as long as you would like to receive it. Stickers are allowed, but please don't let that be your only means of altering.

• You MUST include the Group Name/Swap, Date & your username on the back of each card. You may lightly decorate the back of the card (if you choose), but it is not required.

ETA (24 Jan 2012) - I have been informed that some people are having trouble finding cards the exact size as a "standard" playing deck (which is the same size as an ATC)...as long as you aren't using a "mini" type playing card you can use it. Also if your deck uses "dames" instead of "queens", that is fine too. In fact that is kind of cool!

But I reserve the right to ban anyone I feel might not be able to complete the swap for some reason or another. *Note if you are a newer swapper, and have a full dash, I may choose to ban you (I will discuss this with the awesome @TerryF first though). The sad fact is FLAKERS SUCK - pure and simple. If you are flaked on, please contact me ASAP. I will angel (as I do in all my swaps), after you have rated your partner a 1. However; if you choose not to rate your partner the 1; then I choose not to angel.
