Description:
Every week choose a new book to read (one you've never read before), once your done reading it, email your partners (3 of them). Your email should state title, author, genre, page count, short summary and what you thought of the book. It can be any book you want as long as you've never read it before.

What if I can't finish the book within one week? I would miss the sending deadline...

That's the point, you have to be able to read a book in a week.

What do we do if we are reading an ebook and there is not a page count? Should I look up the page count for a printed version?

I usually read about a book a week, but I can't be sure I'll finish one within a week, so I won't be able to participate.
