Description:

For the first of our swaps following the Cancer Awareness Ribbon Meanings, each of us will choose the color for our quilt block according to the ribbon color that is most meaningfull to us. Be sure to enclose a short note telling why you choose that color for that type of cancer. We will use at least two colors/fabric (light with medium or dark as an example). The pattern for this block will be senders choice, using the skills we are at now on our sewing abilities.

To mix this up alittle send two different colors, a color for two different types of cancers, but can be the same pattern, or it can be the two different patterns, with the same colors for one type of cancer.

Are we sending two quilt blocks - different colours/patterns?

Yes, 2 blocks, you choose what ever color and quilt block pattern for your level of sewing skills. I set this up this way, so we can see where each other are in our sewing skills. Don't want to get into patterns that is to hard for us, takes all of the fun out of sewing.

Okay. I will get to work on the quilt blocks this week.
