Description:
For this swap, you will be making one deco to send to your partner. The deco can be made for anyone you wish, but according to the theme "Santa Claus". Your deco can be an Art deco or a Regular ("taped") deco, but please ensure that it is in booklet form. (ie: Has a front and a back cover, with staples, ribbon, yarn, brads as attachments, and NOT just stapled in the corner.) and the front cover should have some decoration or embellishment, not just a picture. Make someting that you are proud of to call your own work. =) Most of all, have fun creating your decos! Unsure of creating deco books? Check out some ideas on Flickr If you are flaked on (stars forbid), I can and will angel my swaps.

Do we make and decorate the whole book or just the cover and first page? I'm thinking it's the latter but I'm not sure.

@Gofeen - just the cover. :) You can put the address on the front cover, inside the front cover, or on the back of the booklet - whatever your preference is (since I've seen it done all three ways.)

I always deco the cover and then a page with my label inside. This is how they were done years ago.

I wonder why the "newer" way is to only do the cover?
