Private collage swap

Private swap with the same rules as "Collage Swap for the Truly Clueless" except @quiltncat is to make hers bendable down the middle to fit @cynaemon s book.

I am not a papercrafter. What I know about this stuff could fit on the head of a pin with extra room left over. But today I was doing crafts with my toddler and I made the collage pictured above from random magazine clippings. And dangit, it was really FUN!

So if you are as clueless as I am, or even if you are not but are feeling generous with your talents, let's have some fun. Here are the guidelines: 1.You will make one collage piece for your partner. 2.It will be approximately 8.5" x 11" with the art going all the way, or very close to, the edges of the paper. 3.Your collage will be made from the clippings of ONE magazine. Just one. We are not going to go insane with collecting clippings from a million different sources. Pick something interesting and get to cuttin'. 4.Pictures, words, anything is fair game from within the magazine you use. 5.Extras such as drawn art, embellishments, fancy schmancy techniques are allowed but not required. Let's face it - we don't know jack about all that stuff. 6.The collage's theme/subject matter/etc is SENDER'S CHOICE. If you want to do something special for your partner based on their profile, that is certainly up to you. But the idea here is to allow yourself to be creative in whatever way you want with as few restrictions as possible. 7.Please package your piece in a big envelope with some stiff cardboard so it arrives nice and pretty.

We aren't very good at this. It doesn't matter. Cut, paste, send. And don't forget to have fun!!
