Description:

Are you familiar with the song, "My Favourite Things" by Julie Andrews?... It's not my favorite song (no pun intended!) but, I've been trying to think of a wintery swap, and this song/idea popped into my head.

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, Brown paper packages tied up with strings, These are a few of my favorite things! "

(Is the song stuck in your head yet? Warning, it just might stay stuck there all day!)

Here are the swap details:

  1. You will have ONE partner.

  2. You'll send your partner a list (or letter) of 5 of your "favorite" things about winter. Please try to be creative with your list. Make it fun to read.

  3. Look at your partner's profile and send them a (small) profile based surprise- preferably one of their "favorite" things. I'm not setting a price limit on this, but please try to send something your partner will be happy to receive. Make sure you read your partners profile.

  4. Lastly, you will decorate the package. Mailart, baby! One requirement is that you actually "wrap" the package with wrapping paper. After that, you're free to decorate however you wish. Please reinforce the package by taping over it with packaging tape, so its sturdy enough to travel through the mail..

Have fun my swap-bot friends! :) And be merry!
