Halloween candy international swap

I like DARK chocolate, Gummies, Sour stuff, and anything uniquely international.

Please NO liqueur filled, licorice, nuts. No big fan of dark chocolate. Some is ok but not much.

I do LOVE: Chocolate (especially milk), soft sweets, m&m/smartis kind of stuff, marsmallows, gummies, stuff that children like (like kinder eggs)

NO liqueur or alcoholic filled candy.

Hi! This is just a thought. If you've seen a type of candy that is from another country, say in a magazine, this might be the perfect time to list it! Maybe your partner can get it for you!:)

Exactly!! On my own forum (listed in my profile) I have added lots of Swedish candy (more to come though). And you can also take a look at http://www.typetive.com/candyblog/item/getyerown_candy/ Where they have added lots of candy from around the world (just some example though).

Hi all! This is my first swap, so I'm really looking forward to sharing some Halloween fun :) As for preferences, being away from home (Canada), I miss peanut butter things (Reese's, etc) and prefer dark chocolate to milk and sour over sweet. Since I am in Germany, I hope I get someone who likes chocolate and gummies, which there are a LOT of here :)

Oh how fun. I'm sure my whole family would enjoy this one... that is if I decide to share :)
I would like anything! I also have 2 kids and a husband that I can pass goodies onto.
The only thing I can think that might not be good is anything gummy because my son can't eat them (however I can!!). Being I live in america I'm sure if I get a partner from another country I can load them up with all kinds of Halloween goodies!!

Erin - Thank you! I didn't realize before that we would get candy from a different person than we were sending too. Even more fun! I can't wait to see your package :)

It's pass sending date and still there are people who status shows 'not sent'. This is not nice to your swapping partner if you haven't sent yet. I have written an email to all of those people who still has that status. So far I haven't heard any reply from any of them.

I have also sent an email to all of those people who are expecting a package from these people, so they can contact themself (I can't do anything more as I already have sent several emails during this week).

I hope it all is a big missunderstanding amongst people. Hope packages soon will start to arrive!!!!

Still 4 people who has the status 'not sent'. That's really bad!! It's bad enough you don't reply to my emails, but you don't seem to reply to your partner either! As I have said....if there is anything please contact any of us so your partner don't need to be worry!!

To whomever sent to me: I am assuming that it is being shipped from out of the country or something because I still haven't received it yet, but I didn't get the "your partner isn't responding to anything" email so I'm hoping it's in transit still. I will let you know when I get something :)

Agnetha, thank you for this swap. I know how hard it is to keep track of everybody and deal with people who don't like to communicate or send their swaps out. You did an amazing job!

Has anyone recieved anything yet?? (Curious) My package should take 4-6 days to reach it's destination (according to the post office site, and usually that is correct). So it should be there by now (Hoping)

I haven't received anything either yet :( But then I know mine is travelling across the world so it can take some time. I feel like a child though...hoping everyday when I look in my mailbox that I will find anything there :)

Nothing here either. I think our post office runs on a different time frame and everything is always really late! If I don't get something sometime next week I will let you know, till then I'm not going to worry about it :)

I am sorry I am late posting, had major surgery 4 weeks ago and still recovering! I received a great package from CraftyFox AND it had goodies in it for me! Love the little toys and trinkets...wait till you see my cards next year, LOL! My package went out to Brandy L...no response

Shipping overseas is very very slow and now with the holidays approaching - it'll delay things arriving even more :o(

It's very strange that shipping from Sweden is always so fast! I don't know if it has to do with that all our shipping is with prioritarie mail (we don't have any other alternitive to ship overseas).

Isn't there anyone else who wants to share a picture of what they received??

I'm not a perticipant of this swap - but it's not un usual that things from US - Canada takes up to 2 months to get here.

It depends on how they send the stuff.

It's sad - since it takes less than a week (in most cases) for packages to get there if sent the other way.

I think that if you choose to ship a package by a slow option, you gotta tell your partner about it so that person knows!! Otherwise the person will think that it's been ripped off and won't receive anything!

What happened to this swap?? I've only heard 4 people receiving their packages! What about the rest? I still haven't received anything myself :(

SHELLEY: I still haven't received the package and no reply from my last two e-mails that I've sent to you. I don't think the package will show up at this point. It's taken too long time and it must have gone lost somewhere on the way. Would you please consider sending a replacement package?

I assume that everyone has received their packages as no one is writing that they haven't. So is it only me who hasn't received anything at all???
