Description:

Have you ever found something on a walk or tucked into an old book? This is your chance to share a find with someone else! I realize that this is a busy time of year for many people hence there is plenty of time to sign up and hunt for your object ;)

You will send one small found object to one partner.

The object should be small enough to fit into a 3 5/8 x 6 1/2 in. (9.2 cm. x 16.5 cm.) envelope. The item may be mailed in something larger, but the item itself should be small enough to fit into the envelope size listed.

Please include a short note describing something about the object or your discovery of it (where you found it, why you found it interesting, etc.) .

A note on objects:

  • A folded note, card or other paper item is fine.
  • Please clean item if necessary in consideration of your partner.
  • A cool rock or other natural object is acceptable.
  • Items found on a geocache are fine.

Newbies with a filled out profile are welcome! No recent 1's or 3's. This is an international swap. The small size should help with postage ;)

Mail artists, feel free to decorate the envelope. This is not a requirement, but it is allowed. The found object must be contained within the envelope, however.

Please post or contact me with any questions!

Most of all, have fun, keep your eyes open and share the experience with another!

Spepera 11/ 1/2011 #

Can it be a pressed flower or leaves?

snout 11/ 2/2011 #

@Spepera I think that would be fine! As long as it is "in tact" when received ;)

Hmm...it should have been "intact" ;)

If anyone else has questions about possible "found" objects please ask!
