20/20 Picture Swap

I love using images in my artwork whether it is in art journals, zines, ATCs.. and am always looking for good pictures that fit in with my themes.

I'm also never sure whether the spare pictures I have are vintage / ephemeral / designer enough for the existing swaps. I do know they could be useful for someone else though as they are nice, good quality, interesting pictures.

So for this swap you will be sending 2 people 20 pictures each (so you need 40 pictures in total).

Try to include a range of different types of pictures- people, animals, objects, plants, buildings, black and white, colour, illustration, photograph, magazine, different sizes of picture.. anything you think your partners could find interesting and useful (it's senders choice but you still should check profiles for dislikes so's not to offend, and also check for likes / current projects for those hearts).

Use good quality images- not print outs off the internet. Make them something you would like to receive and use yourself.

Good places to find pictures are old outdated books from charity shops (are these called thrift stores in the US?), old (and new) magazines, craft supplies, old postcards..

If this goes well I will be hosting themed picture swaps and maybe larger picture swaps (so you can pass on the ones you receive but cannot use). Any suggestions are welcome.

Please send images in flat protective packaging (e.g. between two pieces of card) so they don't get damaged.

Newbies are welcome (with well filled out profiles), minimum rating of 4.8, no-one with unexplained 1's or 3's, and you have to have been on swap-bot at least 1 week before swap starts.
