Okay, this is for all you 'Tanglers out there. I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but didn't know how I was going to make it work. This is going to take a lot of time on my part, but if everything works right, It's worth it! The aim of this is to get an 8x11 zentangle to display (or not, your choice. ) You will take a piece of 8.5x11 inch white cardstock (not too thick.) I will be posting a "string" . You can either try to free hand it (if you're good at getting it close to perfect) , print it (full page, no margins) or full screen the scan and trace it to your paper from your computer screen (works well) Once your string is copied / printed onto your paper, you can either zen the whole thing together, or you can cut them apart and zen them one by one. You will be cutting the paper into 4 equal pieces. Each piece should be FIVE AND A HALF INCHES LONG by FOUR AND A QUARTER INCHES HIGH ( 5 1/2 x 4 1/4) This meets the conditions of the USPS for postcards, even though its a slightly odd size for a postcard. Please adhere the zentangle to a backer. Cereal boxes work GREAT and its eco-friendly. Reuse! :D You can adhere paper to the back as well so its easy to read/write on. (i always do, it makes it feel more "postcard" ,) However, this is NOT a must, but if you don't please make sure to use a pen that shows up clearly on the backer. Look, you now have 4 postcards to send! here is the tricky part (at least for me anyway.) When I assign partners, I will go through each persons name. I will then post in the comments what panel you are to send to whom. EXAMPLE: Omgz: P1 [treegirl] P2 [ luvsya] P3 [genericswapname] P4 [lulu38938838] P1 = Panel One , P2 = Panel Two - and so forth. This will ensure that SWAPPER X doesnt receive 2 panel 1's and no panel 3s. I will post the Panel orders in the comments on the swap. Please don't send out your swaps till you know your panel order. This will be posted within 24 hours of partners being assigned. Please refer to the swap page link for the string. Please message me with any questions or if you need the original string file sent to you. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BAN ANYONE. Since this is a time intensive swap for me and the swappers, I will boot anyone I feel will not uphold their end of the swap. I always read ratings / profiles. You must have at least 5 (real) type 3's under your belt. Swaps marked as type 3's that are really type 2's will not count ( such as a standard store bought postcard swap) This will only cost $1.16 to send, but that adds up if one has to angel. Please no flaking. If you know youre just going to flake, turn around and leave this page now. |
