Not Your Photo/Art

I love going to museums, exhibits and art shows. I admire the genius of other artists and long for their creativity and power with a camera, paintbrush, carving tool.

Here’s your task. Go to a museum, art show, or exhibit and take some pictures of the art on display. Focus on individual pieces instead of groups of art. (Be sure that it is okay to take pictures and/or okay to use flash). Choose your favorite 3 pieces by the same artist--if possible--and send to your one partner. Be sure to include a note with descriptions and information about the artist(s) and the exhibit.

If you want to go a little further, use the photographs to make postcards or note cards for your partner to send out. Be sure to sign your work!
