Response: Me too! I had a 68 as my first car and also later had a 85 and a 90. The new one is amazing and will be my mid life crisis car when i comes out!

Comment: Thanks for the great postcard. I have been to see all of these lighthouses. I love NC - have lived here since 1972. I grew up in MI. I stay in Southport part of the time and we are right near the Cape Fear River and can see Bald Head and Oak Island lighthouses from there. judy

Response: well, its the tallest in north america and it was recently moved from one spot to another several hundred yards away. big debate on if it would tumble but they jacked it up, put a platform under it and creeped it along a few feet an hour 24 hrs a day till they got it to its new foundation. it was right near the water and about to fall in (see postcard for old location) the new location protects it from another 100 years of erosion.
