I so enjoyed your letters about your students and the experiences you have with them,and the paper painted by them, I feel you must be a very special teacher to them, I could feel the love you have for them in your letters. I wish my new granddaughter could find a teacher such as you. She has just come from Russia with her mother, She has learning disabilities along with learning a new way of life. My son is a dad for the first time, She is 16 and was not wanted by her birth dad, but she has one who loves her with all his heart now. Thank you for being such a great pen pal. Marcia

Comment: I ADORED the collaged address on the envelope. :) The mini-zine was fun to read. Also, fellow Washingtonian, I dont know what to suggest! But Snoqualmie Falls is just gorgeous around summer, because of all the moisture all the woods around it are wonderfully green even in August. :) And of course the Tacoma Point Defiance Zoo is worth it just to see the polar bears playing, and the monkeys swinging around.
