Comment: wow. We have a little dream that we want to travel the lower 48 upon retirement. Not just 'visit' but like work at some little job or sell our crafts and stay a while to get a feel. I think you were also the one who mentioned in your 101 that you wanted to hike part of the Appalachian trail? anyhow, we have the pacific crest trail, and that would be way cool to hike the other 2, or parts of them. Plus my husband is a big map freak and I just got a kick out of reading everything! I knew next to nothing about that part of hte country , let alone CN. I'm definitely saving for future ref.
